Early special order rifle, circa 1897. Blued finish, 26" part octagon bbl, button magazine, Marble Sheard blade front sight, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, case hardened lever, and smooth walnut stocks with rifle buttplate. Approximately 40% thinned bluing retained showing honest wear & striations on the receiver. Crisp markings, smooth bore and excellent bore. Wood stocks are very good.
