^Lot 529 Colt 1855 rifle, .60 caliber, Serial #2998. The rifle is

in good overall condition with a 31” barrel. The barrel and receiver are a dark patina with an old frontier repair where the frame above the cylinder was blown and repaired with a weld. The metal surfaces show light surface rust and erosion. The Colt markings are retained on the left side of the frame. The action does not function properly and needs work. The smooth wood stocks are in fair condition showing heavy use with dents and mars. The butt ends with a smooth steel butt with trap. (Antique). Est.: $800-$1,600.
