Russian military bolt-action service rifle chambered in 7.62x54Rmm, circa 1948. Imported by C.A.I. of St. Alban, VT with import marks on the barrel. Features a blued finish, Izhevsk marked 20.25" barrel, hooded post front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters, folding spike bayonet, two barrel bands, 5 round fixed magazine, cleaning rod, straight bolt handle, smooth wood handguard, and straight grip shoulder stock with metal buttplate. Matching serial numbers on the barrel, receiver, floorplate, bolt, & buttplate. Rifle retains approximately 97% of it's blued finish showing only few handling wear.
