Sporterized U.S. Military contracted bolt-action service rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, circa 1942. Features a parkerized/blued finish, 24" barrel with European style swivel stud attached, ramped blade front sight, raised rear window sight with folding leaf, manual safety, 5-round integral box magazine, magazine cut-off, smooth trigger, modified bolt handle, stamped metal floorplate & trigger guard, drilled & tapped receiver for a side mounted sight and checkered Monte Carlo style wood stock with faux wood plastic grip cap, sling swivel & rubber recoil pad. Rifle retains approximately 15% of it's finish intact overall showing heavy wear and some cleaning. Action is smooth, bore is pristine, and wood stock is very good with semi-worn checkering and blemishes. Condition is near good. ***C&R Firearm*** ***Modern Firearm***
