^Lot 1156a EIG Percussion Rifle .45 Cal SN: 1639

Italian made full-stocked muzzle loading percussion rifle chambered for .45 caliber ammunition, circa 1966. Features a blued 35" octagonal barrel, brass blade front sight, dovetailed rear window sight, wood ram rod with brass tip, case hardened lock, smooth triggers, brass furniture, patch box and two-piece smooth wood stock. Rifle retains approximately 90% of it's blued finish showing light wear and some scattered rust around the muzzle and cap lock. The case colored lock is dulling to patina and the brass furniture is aging to a dull patina as well. Action performs well, bore is clear and wood stock is very good with a few small blemishes.
