High quality Ottoman Turk flintlock miquelet carbine with fancy silver ornamentation circa 18th to early 19th century. The barrel measures 34” and 44” overall. Heavy octagon barrel of .80 plus caliber smoothbore. Nicemarking on both the lock and Damascus barrel. The lock is sheathed in sheet silver that is hand engraved. More silver sheet work at the tang area and at the butt as a cap. The wood has been refinished. The condition is goodoverall with some pitting on the barrel. From local estate.
