Colt SAA revolver, .44/40 (etched panel) caliber, 7.5” barrel, blued and case hardened finish, wood grips, S/N 104575, in overall very good condition plum brown patina on barrel with some muted blue in protectedareas, majority of etched panel visible, silver toning to frame with hints of original case colors in protected areas; crisp action, very good bore, good markings and grips with some knackering to the bottom ofgrips and two old carved notches. Accompanied by a Colt factory letter confirming caliber, barrel length and finish, stocks “Not Listed”; shipped to Lee Fried & Co., Omaha, Nebraska on August 28, 1886, twoguns in shipment. (Antique).
