Stevens Model 9478 single shot shotgun, 12 gauge, S/N D339543. The shotgun is in very good overall condition with an 18.5” blued barrel. The barrel retains nearly all of its blued finish while the action featuressignificant muted case coloring. The smooth wood stocks are in very good condition showing only minor handling marks. The butt stock ends with a hard plastic butt plate. The bore is very good, the action crisp andmarkings are sharp. The trigger guard is broken at both ends and in need of repair.
