Nineteenth century Policeman’s lot consisting of: 1. Police hat with cap badge, brown felt ca. 1890’s in very good + condition, slight rim loss and minor wear; 2. Night stick turned rosewood or hardwood inscribedin initials “C.C./May 92/No. 14”; 3. Rubber stamp “C. Coulter-Policeman”; 4. Photo of C. Coulter with two other officers possibly in this hat with this night stick; Butte, MT. photographer-marked and in gutta perchaframe; 5. Invitation to Annual Police Ball, Butte MT., Jan. 23, 1896, stamped “C. Coulter”. 6. Fireman’s exemption Certificate dated 1897 Clyde C. Coulter, exempts from taxes, military service, juryduty, except in war; found in Montana with Coulter’s descendants. Est.: $400-$800.
