Koto period wakasashi (Medium sword) unsigned and full traditional mountings. The blade measures 17” and in a good state of polish with fancy temper. Minor openings in lamination or flaws. The scabbard showsrestoration and repair and the kozuka is a modern replacement. Old forged iron tsuba, inlaid fittings and soft metal menuki with old wrap on the grip, all showing age but good.
