Lot 790a Potsdam 1809 Musket .71 Cal SN: NVSN
Military musket made as a flintlock and altered to a percussion action in 1821. Blued/browned barrel, hammer, buttplate and lock plate are all rusty brown in color with pitting and dings. Lock plate is marked, "Potsdam G.I." The buttplate is marked, "37 LWR 4 C No". Brass is tarnished with small dings, scuffs and scratches. 30" barrel is dark with rust and pitting. Action works well. Wood has scrapes, scuffs and dings. Condition is poor. *Antique Firearm*
