^Lot 240 Colt 1877 Lightning .38 Cal SN: 120843

Vintage double-action revolver chambered in .38 Colt, circa 1900. Featured a blued & case hardened finish, 4.5" barrel with two line address, ejector rod with bulls eye ring ejector, blade front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, long fluted six-shot cylinder, smooth trigger, checkered hammer spur and Rampant Colt two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips. Revolver exhibits traces of it's original blued finish in protected areas with the majority of the metal surfaces in-the-white displaying a dull grey patina. Markings are very good and all serial numbers match. Action is in working order, bore is good with few areas of pitting and grips are fair as worn semi smooth & the left grip has a large chip missing.
