Marlin Model 92 takedown lever action rifle, .22 caliber, serial #374282. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” octagon barrel with a silver knife blade and buckhorn rear sights. The barrel and fulllength magazine retain the majority of their thinning blued finish with sharp edges and some knackering at the muzzle. The receiver shows significant amounts of original blued finish with the remainder going to plumpatina, while the top has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with a small crack at the wrist and the steel butt plate becoming proud due to shrinkage of thesurrounding wood. The bore is fair, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this nice, old Marlin. (C+R) Est.: $300-$600.
