Remington U.S. Model 1903 A3 Sniper rifle, .30 caliber, serial #4997427. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” barrel with front and rear sights removed. The barrel and receiver retain the majority oftheir military finish with wear at the muzzle and on the magazine base. The bolt handle has been bent to accommodate scope mounting. The barrel is Remington marked and dated 12-43 with the flaming bomb emblem. Thesmooth wood stock is in good condition showing moderate wear and light sanding. The existing cartouches are faint but visible. The receiver is topped with a Redfield one-piece scope mount. The stock includessling swivels and ends with a checkered steel butt plate with trap.
