Winchester 1892 lever rifle, .38 W.C.F. caliber, serial #198364. The rifle is in good to nearly very good overall condition with a 24” round barrel. The barrel and full-length magazine retain a significantamount of their toning blue finish with light surface rust and wear at the muzzle noted. The receiver has gone to a plum patina with small amounts of original blue in the protected areas and old case color evident on the lever and hammer. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with the butt portion being a replacement. The butt stock ends with a smooth, steel crescent butt plate. The bore is fair, the action crispand markings are sharp on this Winchester circa 1902. (C+R) Est.: $600-$1,200.
