Winchester Model 1894 takedown lever action rifle, 38-55 WCF caliber, serial #296281. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 26” octagon barrel. The barrel and magazine tube retain a significant amount of theirmuted blue finish with high point edge wear, sharp corners and light to moderate surface rust present. The rear sight has an old weld repairing a break. The receiver has gone to a silver patina with flaking blue inthe protected areas. The smooth wood stocks are in fair condition showing heavy use with loss of finish and a significant gouge in the butt stock. The butt stock ends with a crescent steel butt plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are legible on this Winchester made in 1904. (C+R) Est.: $400-600.
