^Lot 452a Waterfowl Carving by Leo Koppy

Pintail duck, hand carved, painted and stained. Signed by artist in marker on bottom. Measures 17"x8"x7". Small pieces of back wing and tail have broken off, otherwise good. Leo Koppy started a carving business in the late 1970s. He carved Disney characters and they were sold in the Disney stores, displayed in locked glass cases. These were signed 'Walt Disney Productions'. In addition to these carvings Leo also sold and made duck decoys and other animals.
