^Lot 108 Colt 1877 Lightning .38 Cal SN: 36066

Antique 'Sheriff's Model' double action six-shot revolver chambered in .38 Colt, circa 1882. Featured a nickel plated finish, 2.5" acid-etched barrel with two line address, blade front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, long fluted cylinder, large checkered cylinder pin head, smooth trigger, checkered hammer spur and two piece mother-of-pearl grips. Revolver exhibits approximately 60% of it's original nickel plated finish with the balance turned to brown patina. Markings are good and all serial numbers match. Action is sound, bore is excellent and mother-of-pearl grips are very good with small losses to both panels & a repair at the toe on the right panel. Condition is very good. ***Antique Firearm***
