Civil War Era 1865 Watertown Arsenal Cartridge Box, with two tin inserts, black leather construction with ''US'' stamped to outside flap; inter-flap stamped ''Watertown / Arsenal / 1865'', with a combination of brass and steel fittings. Condition is very good. Leather with light cracking, scuffs and scratches. Brass fittings with moderate amounts of verdigris. All markings remain clear. Stitching and seams are tight. Est.: $400-$600.
