Custom Fixed Blade Knife, by Chuck Stapel, 5-5/8'' trailing point blade, 11'' overall, blade marked ''Stapel / Glendale, Calif.''; brass guard, stag handle with large Micarta spacers held in place by a brass cap. Includes an oak base with antler knife rest and decorative scrimshawed faux ivory medallion of two bears in center. Condition is excellent, appearing as new, showing no signs of use. Blade with fine micro-scratching; brass guard with moderate even toning. Est.: $125-$250.
