Post-WWI DWM Police Rework Luger, #6286t, 9mm, 4'' barrel, blue finish, straw small parts, checkered walnut grips, with matching magazine. Front strap unit marked ''L.Ka.280''; ''(crown)/N'' proofed on barrel, and barrel extension which is also marked ''WaA65''. Condition is fine as arsenal reworked with most matching numbers. Mid-toggle is from a later Mauser marked ''42'', firing pin and chamber are unmarked. Pistol retains about 90% arsenal reblue with sear safety in place; magazine safety is missing. Straw parts have faded to grey. Grips are replacements. Matching magazine is a Haenel. Action is good, bore is fine with some frosting in the grooves. Est.: $1,500-$2,200. (C&R)
