P.08 Erfurt Luger Double Date Police Rework Semi-Automatic Pistol, #874i, 9mm, 4'' barrel, blue finish, checkererd walnut grips, Imperial acceptance and Weimar rework proofs in various places. Magazine is a blue-bodied ''fxo'' force matched to the pistol as was common in this model. Mfg'd 1914. Condition is excellent as refinished and reconfigured for issue to the post-WWI German police. Sear safety is present but no magazine safety, thus probably completed ca. 1930. All visible matching numbers (firing pin is not marked). Straw parts retain approx. 80% color. Grips are in excellent condition with slight flattening to the checkers, but no chips or cracks and remain unnumbered. Action is tight, bore is bright. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (C&R)
