^Lot 637 Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle

Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle, Serial #22189, .30 U.S. (.30-40 Krag) cal., 28'' barrel, blue finish, uncheckered walnut two-piece stock with horn end cap. Condition is very good retaining approx. 60% original blue the rest aging to an even brown tone, with micro-scratches overall. Stock retains approx. 90% of its original finish with some darkening and minor dents and scratches. Left side of the hammer shows stamped letters ''K.S.M''. Action is tight, bore is strong with some frosting in the grooves. Altogether a very nice rifle that has seen some use, but no abuse. Est.: $900-$1,200. (C&R)
