Antique Side-by-Side Halfstock Percussion Shotgun, by Edward Middleton, approx. 12 ga., 34'' laminated steel barrels with 1/2'' concave rib and silver front bead; barrels have a single Birmingham black powder proof; lockplates and hammers show border line engraving with double triggers; walnut stock with steel buttplate and brass-tipped ramrod. Condition is fair, for decorative or display purposes only. Barrels are corroded and are coming apart from rust at the breeches. Checkered stock has worn smooth with fissures, nicks and marks from age. Est.: $200-$350. (Antique)
