Lot 1496 Early brown bess bayonet marked “Nakin” with crown
along with crude tanned hide sheath. Measures 21 ¾” overall. Our consignor bought it years ago with traditional story as from Battle of Monmouth, N.J. The bayonet is good and the scabbard is fair to good showing deterioration and aging (Maybe Indian tanned leather) Est.: $250-$500
