Lot 1176 1896 Krag carbine in .30-40 caliber with saddle
ring and bar, S/N 28166 showing fully visible 1896 cartouche. In good to very good overall condition with action showing a grey patina and about 50% thinning blue on the barrel. The wood is very good with some light cleaning with steel wool but great cartouche and “P” proof behind the trigger guard. Sharp markings and mechanically sound with very good bore and action.
