horse of Custer massacre telling story dated 1889 by Ramsour & Pennill. Measures 6 ½” x 8”. In fair to good condition with normal aging. Framed with braided horse hair and pen inscription in summary “Clipped off mane of Comanche and give to Hon. J.W. Ellis”. A true custerania relic from veteran survivor. Est.: $250-$500
