Finely refinished vintage bolt action sporting rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, circa 1940. Features a high polish blued refinish, 24" tapered barrel, ramped & hooded front sight, Bausch & Lomb Balvar 5 2.5-5x scope on Stith Mounts adjustable base, serrated trigger, hinged floorplate, manual safety, polished bolt handle, brown leather sling and checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip shoulder stock with checkered metal buttplate. Stock has been cut for side mounted optics and has since been partially filled in. Rifle's finish remains bright with light wear including muzzle wear, handing marks and some edge wear. Approximately 92% bluing is intact. Action is sound, bore is excellent, markings are good, and wood stock is near fine with less than moderate dings.
