Bronze 2 Pounder Cannon with Carriage
It is marked with an intertwined "LP" on the left trunnion and "No 120" on the right and has a 2.38" bore and 30 1/2" long body. The consignor's notes state that it was manufactured by the Lapans Foundry in Hudson Falls, New York, around 1980 and the oak carriage was built by craftsmen in Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts. Very good overall with some mild patination and storage type wear.
