U.S. M5A1 bayonet, “Imperial” marked. For use with the M1 Garand, the bayonet features a 6 ¾” parkerized blade in very good condition with signs of wear but not sharpening. The checkered black plastic grips are in very good condition as well. The OD green metal scabbard is stamped, “U.S. M8A1 //V.P. Co.” It is also stamped with an ink stamped D.O.D. cartouche of an eagle with three stars on the back side. The lot includes an O.D. green canvas hangar. Est.: $75-150.
