High quality Germanic Double Barrel Fowler converted from flintlock to percussion showing empire styling with silver mounts and pins within the checkering as ornamentation at the wrist. Signed “Wande en Sudnweel” in fancy script on thelocks, 37” barrels in 16GA choked open right and about improved cylinder left. The metal surfaces show a smooth brown patina and the wood has been lightly refinished showing burl grain. The silver mounts are nicely engraved and this was a qualityarm. (Antique) Est.: $1250-$2500
