Iron barrel blunderbuss carbine with top mounted spring bayonet signed “C.J. Jerome” circa 1850-60 in percussion. The carbine measures 29 ½” overall with a 14” barrel of approximately 1 1/8” bore with thick walls to barrel. The condition is goodwith dark uncleaned patina. The main spring is weak but the bayonet flips out well. The stock shows some minor wear and small losses but also N.R.A. good. The ramrod is missing. An authentic blunderbuss for self-defense in home or on thehighway. (Antique) Est.: $1250-$2500
