Hawken rifle, .45 caliber, 32” octagon barrel, double set triggers, working at time of description; double keyed wood half stock, iron mounts, hooded front sight, hand forged adjustable rear tang sight, wood ramrod under barrel. This Hawken is the way collectors love to find them showing a heavy dark patina to metal surfaces, very good wood with years of patina too and the kind of wear and scratches to finish you wouldexpect from a gun that was used but not abused.
