^Lot 216 Colt 1849 Pocket .31 SN: 203963

Well preserved percussion six shot single action revolver cambered in .31 caliber, circa 1862. Features a blued 6" octagon barrel with "Address SamL Colt / Hartford CT." two line barrel address, matching serial numbers with the exception of the loading lever, non-fluted cylinder with stagecoach holdup scene, fixed sights, case hardened loading lever, silver plated frame, trigger guard & backstrap, and one piece varnished walnut grips. Revolver retains 85% thinning blue finish on barrel, has 70% of the cylinder scene present, and has 88% of the silver plating intact. Action is sound, bore is clear, and wood grips are fine with edge wear & nail head marks. A very nice example of a 1849 model Colt. Condition is excellent as antique. ***Antique Firearm***
