NYSCD marked Smith & Wesson Model 10-5 Double Action Revolver, #C830224, .38 Spec. cal., 6'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. Backstrap marked ''NYSCD'' for New York Correctional Dept. Mfg'd approx. 1960. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 94% blue showing thinning at muzzle, to topstrap, and forward portion of cylinder. Grips and action are crisp, bore is mirror bright. Est.: $500-$750.
