Scarce Gap Letter International Harvester M1 Garand, #5198687, .30-06 cal., 24'' barrel by LMR and dated 1-55, parkerized finish, DoD cartouched walnut stock marked ''1295'' in forward channel, with all correct IHC marked parts and all unmarked parts being of the correct late variety. Includes one correct May 1952 dated green canvas sling. Condition is fine as possibly partially restored, with receiver showing a slightly darker color than the rest of the components. Stock with scuffs, scratches, and several moderate impressions. Action is good, bore is bright. Throat erosion 2.25; muzzle wear 2.0; chamber is bright. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R)
