Scarce International Harvester U.S. M1 Garand, with receiver made by H&R, #5216696, .30-06 cal., 24'' barrel by LMR and dated 5-55, DoD cartouched walnut stock, with all internal components by IHC, and all unmarked parts being of the correct late variety. Includes correct post-war green canvas sling. Condition is fine retaining approx. 98% parkerized finish. Stock with light to just moderate handling marks, with visible cartouche. Additional stenciling to right side of cheekpiece is faint. Action is good, bore is bright. Chamber area is parkerized. Est.: $3,500-$5,000. (C&R)
