**Interesting Japanese Arisaka bolt action rifle, 6.5mm caliber, 31.5” barrel, S/N 50909, blued finish, wood stock. This gun is in overall fair to good condition as un-cleaned and displaying a large bullet strike on the left side of the barrel just in front of the rear sight; there appears to be another bullet strike on the right front side of the barrel. The mum and Japanese characters on the top of the receiver are un-ground and there is a brass tag hanging from the front sling swivel marked “IWO JIMA 7”. From the estate of the late Col.
