**Desirable Winchester Model 1892 Trapper’s saddle ring carbine, .38-40 caliber, 14” barrel, S/N 333449, blued finish, wood stocks in overall very good condition showing grey patina with original blue on barrel and loading tube in protected areas as well as some traces of original blue on the receiver in protected spots; very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings and very good to fine wood stocks. Accompanied by both an original factory letter & ATF approval document. The factory letter confirming features and indicating receipt in warehouse on August 27, 1906 and shipment of the gun on October 4, 1906 to order number 66708; the ATF approval letter as a curio and relic dated Sept. 22, 2005.
