Winchester Model 1885 Single Shot Rifle, #80011, .32-40 cal., 30'' octagonal barrel of No. 3 weight, case hardened frame, smooth walnut stock and forend. Beech's combination front sight and standard rear sight. Mfg'd 1898. Condition is good to very good. Barrel lacks caliber markings and has been cleaned with little of its original finish remaining. Case hardened frame has thinned to about 20%. Replacement tang and tang sight screw. Stock with repairs and added varnish, as well as reinforcing lug added beneath upper tang.
