Rare Early Production Remington Smoot New Model No. 1 Revolver, #169, .30 RF cal., 2-13/16'' barrel, nickel plated, smooth rosewood grips. Mfg'd 1875. Early scarce revolving recoil shield, with estimated quantity of 650 produced. Condition is fine to near excellent retaining approx. 90%-92% original nickel finish, with light areas of blistering and loss of finish mainly to cylinder. Grips remain in excellent condition.
