German Single Shot Percussion Rifle, by Krause in Reichbach, .62 cal., 31'' octagonal barrel with maker's name and address inlaid in white metal to top flat; brass triggerguard, buttplate and ramrod ferrules; double set trigger, checkered cheekpiece walnut stock with horn tip. Condition is good to very good with mild to just moderate pitting to metal surfaces. Flat-sided hammer may be a later replacement, as is brass percussion nipple. Hammer does not stay at full cock and needs adjustment. Bore is fair. Est.: $500-$750. (Antique)
