Brown Bess 1st Model India Pattern Flintlock Rifle, .75 smoothbore, 39'' barrel, bright finish, early type ''GR'' marked lock by Tower, walnut stock, brass furniture, with ''(crown)/GR'' proofmarks to barrel, and ''(crown)/(broadarrow)'' proofmarks to lock. Condition is fine to near excellent. Barrel shows light oxidation. Stock with minor dings and scuffs. Good functioning action, bore is at least fine. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (Antique)
