Starr 1818 Contract Cavalry Saber, with scabbard, 32'' blade, 37'' overall, with blackened iron scabbard showing pewter drag. Hilt dated 1821; blade marked ''US-P/JN-N. Starr''. Condition is good. Blade with several nicks and carbon spotting. Approx. 40% leather remains over wood grip. Scabbard with moderate dings, scuffs and paint loss. Est.: $200-$400.
