^Lot 1527 Arisaka Type 99 Cal: 7.7 SN:26254

Japanese military blued bolt-action rifle with a 26" barrel,, a bayonet (with a 14-5/16" blade) and a scabbard. "Mum" is intact but not marked for model type. Metal is surface rusted to brown patina. Has monopod barrel band but no foot. The rear sight is missing the aircraft arms. The wood stock has a chip out by the lower tang and the usual wear and tear. The front sight is loose, it spins around on the barrel. Bore is shiny with rifling. Action works well. Condition is fair. *Modern Firearm*
