British military blued bolt-action rifle with a 25-1/4" barrel, one magazine and a web sling. Stock is copper wire wrapped for use as a grenade launcher. This was factory rebuilt in 1948. Import marked. Metal has wear and discoloration. Brass butt plate has a trapdoor with a oiler under it. There are 2 round cartouches on the stock, a repair at the heel of the butt. and a chip is missing near the toe of the butt. There is much general damage (dings, dents, etc.). Bore is shiny with good rifling. Action works well. *Modern Firearm*
