^Lot 1170a Vetterli-Vitali 1870/87/15 Cal: 6.5x52 SN: 4887

Italian military blued bolt-action carbine with a 23.75" barrel, a bayonet with a 9.5" blade and a scabbard. Metal finish is dulled with surface rust, stains and pitting. Wood is stamped with a different serial number and has the remnants of the factory cartouche. There is a inset repair by the receiver. There are some tiny scratches and dings and a long heavy rub. Bore is shiny with rifling. Action works well. Condition is fair. *Antique Firearm*
