^Lot 159 Arisaka Type 44 Carbine Cal: 6.5 SN:7550

Japanese military blued bolt-action carbine with a 19" barrel and folding spike bayonet. "Mum" is ground off. Metal finish is worn and faded with some surface rust. Butt plate is dark with some surface rust and a door to hold cleaning rod segments and a jig. Wood is varnished with scratches, dings and rubs. Bayonet has a 13-1/2" spike. Bore is pitted with rifling. Action works well. Condition is fair. *Modern Firearm*
