English Pattern Model 1912 Cavalry Sword, by Manton & Co. (marked ''Calcutta''), 35'' blade, 42-1/2'' overall, with wire-wrapped skate handle, foliate decorated solid half-basket guard. Spine of blade marked ''London Made''. In treated leather covered scabbard with nickel-plated throat. Condition is fine. Blade with minor carbon spotting, minor wear and flattening to skateskin, and mild corrosion coming through plating on guard. Scabbard has been re-dyed brown. Est.: $400-$600.
