Winchester Model 1906 Pump Action Rifle, #846165, .22 SL/LR cal., 16'' barrel, blue finish, gumwood stock, with Marbles tang sight, late model 1894 rear sight, and brass bead front sight. In pre-war Denver retailer's case. Buttplate and spacers have been removed but are present inside one of the case compartments, as is original tang screw. Exceptionally high serial number may indicate a later parts clean-up rifle. Condition is excellent as shortened and refinished, retaining approx. 97% immersion type blue. Stocks with light scuffs and dings. Good action, bright bore. Exterior of case with moderate scuffs and losses, with initials ''WHL'' in center of lid. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R)
